Under the motto Health for All: Strengthening primary health care to build resilient systems, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) invites you to celebrate World Health Day with a high-level dialogue led by the Director, Dr. Jarbas Barbosa, who together with ministers of health; representatives of the international system; community and civil society organizations from the Region, will analyze how to move towards “Health for all” by transforming and strengthening health systems with a focus on the PHC strategy.
The World Health Day celebration is a call to renew people’s commitment and motivations to get involved with their communities in health care and, furthermore, it is a new opportunity to share reflections and orientations of those who have responsibility in decision-making so that they result in the strengthening of health systems for the achievement of “Health for all “.
The event will be May 10, 2023 starting at 2:00 pm EST and will have simultaneous interpretation in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and International Sign Language.
